Everyone knows that when you mention the word wedding many businesses will add 10% onto their normal charge, and rub their hands together when the money comes rolling in. Angelbridemaids was born because we wanted to break the mold of over priced wedding companies and help people achieve their dream day without charging them the earth for the privilege. We are strong believers that a wedding is an extremely special day but it isn’t one that you and your family should be trying to pay off for years after the actual event.
The idea began, as all great ideas do whilst on a Sunday walk, my bridesmaid and I were chatting and planning my up and coming wedding as we walked along past the church I was soon to be married in.
We had been looking absolutely everywhere for dresses for my four bridesmaids and we just couldn’t seem to find what we were looking for, everywhere I went the dresses were either the wrong colour, the wrong size or just way out of my price range, in the end I eventually found some lovely tea length dresses in baby blue, they were great but I was still paying for them 10 months later, and I had really been hoping for royal blue!
It was whilst on the walk when my bridesmaid Sarah had said ‘wouldn’t it be great if there was somewhere you could buy a dress in any colour imaginable, long or short at a reasonable price’ that was when we decided we might be on to something. We thought if we are experiencing these problems finding dresses there must be other women out there having the very same trouble. We decided to look into the idea of setting up Angelbridesmaids and although we didn’t have time to do this before my own wedding we soon realized that the business wasn’t just a dream it really was something that with a bit of hard work we could actually pull off. Now we are supplying dresses for weddings and proms all over the world and making lots of peoples special events even better!
